Get help with SpeakCivics for iPhone and iPad or the web version. You can ask questions, report a problem, or request help with access and practice features.

What to include

• Whether you use the App Store app or the web version.
• Your device model, operating system version, and browser if you use the website.
• A short description of the problem and the steps that led to it.
• A screenshot if it helps explain the issue.

Please do not send passwords, access keys, payment card details, or immigration documents. Remove personal information from screenshots before sending them.

App Store purchase and access

The SpeakCivics iPhone and iPad app is now available on the App Store. Download it free and start with free practice. Full access costs $3.99/month through an auto-renewing subscription or $19.99 as a one-time in-app purchase in the U.S. App Store. Apple handles billing; no web access key or website purchase is required. The app contains no advertising. The 24-hour trial applies only to web access.

Restore purchases and manage Apple subscriptions

Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the Apple Account used for your purchase. Manage or cancel monthly access in your Apple account subscription settings. Monthly access renews automatically until canceled; a one-time purchase has no recurring charge. Existing paid customers retain their access. Prices may vary by country; Apple shows the final local price before purchase.

The web version

SpeakCivics also offers a web version through this website. Browser access is separate from the App Store app and uses a browser access key. You do not need to purchase the web version to use the app you bought through the App Store. Web access is available for $3.99 per month or $19.99 as a one-time purchase. Monthly access renews until canceled; manage or cancel using the subscription management link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt. Access continues through your paid period. The one-time option has no recurring charge. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. The $19.99 one-time plan includes up to 3 active browsers per key. Monthly access and the free trial include 1 active browser. Practice progress is saved separately in each browser. To switch browsers, open the App access page in an activated browser and choose Release this browser. Releasing access keeps the practice progress stored in that browser. Choose a web access plan, then use the license key in your purchase email on the activation page. If your receipt or key has not arrived, check your spam folder or contact support with your order number.

Audio or microphone help

Check your device volume and audio output, and allow microphone and speech recognition access when prompted for spoken practice. If speech recognition is unavailable, use typed responses where offered. If the issue continues, contact us with your device details.

Practice progress

Practice progress and learner profiles are stored on your device or browser. Clearing browser data or deleting the app can remove that information. Contact support before clearing data if you need help troubleshooting.
